Danny Got me Shogun: Total War to play with during recovery with my back.. A nice game form the $10 rack at compusa. It's a lot of fun, and very easy on the laptop's resources. I also grabbed a copy of Age fo Mythology for myself, at $25, It was well worth it to finally get it. I'm sure that between the two of them, I'll have plenty to distract me. I'm very fond of the Cyclops units so far, because they look like Ray Harryhausen's design, and pick up one enemy unit, and use it as a weapon against another. The Kraken is also a fun foe, but I've not had an opportunity to use them as my own units. Hooray for Posieden!

I really want to see more mythologies in the next expanion.. Kali and that Crew would be fun to pit against Thor, Zeus, and Isis. I expect that I'll pick up the titans expansion in the near future.

Weirdo cone-thing - What is it?

Anonymous screening killed the first bit of LJ-spam I've recieved, about getting drug kits. I'm not sure why they posted it in an entry from September 22... Actually, I suspect that it's an attempt to get a ride on my blog hits, but since it's screened, it won't get spidered. Bah on them! They floated in from IP 204.60.53.75, and the spam looked to be specifically LJ oriented, as it filled in the subject line, and had a hyperlink in the body field. the text of the message was basically -
Subject: magic mushroom kits
here's a great place to buy Magic Mushroom Kits

Ah well, this is the first instance of needing the screen since that bot posted 300-some entries about 6 months ago.
